McKenna joins the Red Lichties from Stenhousemuir
The 32-year-old brings a wealth of experience to Gayfield Park
Arbroath FC have signed experienced defender Michael McKenna from Stenhousemuir on a one-year deal.
The 32-year-old left Stenhousemuir at the end of last season, and has now joined up with Dick Campbell's side ahead of the new campaign.
McKenna has a wealth of experience in the Scottish leagues, having played for the likes of Falkirk, Livingston, and Dumbarton.
He is a versatile defender who can play at centre-back or left-back, and will add some much-needed experience to Arbroath's backline.
Arbroath FC manager Dick Campbell said: "Michael is a player I have admired for a long time, and I am delighted to have him on board.
"He is a tough, physical defender who is good in the air and reads the game well.
"He will be a valuable addition to our squad, and I am looking forward to working with him."
McKenna said: "I am delighted to have joined Arbroath FC.

McKenna is a welcome addition to Arbroath's squad, and will add some much-needed experience and quality to their backline.
He will be hoping to make his debut for the Red Lichties in their opening match of the season against Airdrieonians on July 30.
