Arsenal youth forward nominated for Player of the Month again
Folarin Balogun has been shortlisted for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for January
The 21-year-old forward has been in excellent form for Arsenal's Under-23s, scoring six goals in his last five appearances
Balogun is one of eight players nominated for the award, which is voted for by a panel of experts.
The other nominees are: Fabio Carvalho (Fulham), Liam Delap (Manchester City), Harvey Elliott (Liverpool), Joe Gelhardt (Leeds United), Anthony Gordon (Everton), Cole Palmer (Manchester City) and Omari Hutchinson (Chelsea).
Balogun has been in impressive form for Arsenal's Under-23s this season, scoring 16 goals in 20 appearances.
He has also made two appearances for the first team, scoring one goal.
Balogun is a product of Arsenal's academy and has been with the club since he was eight years old.
He signed a new contract with Arsenal in 2021 and is seen as one of the club's most promising young players.
The winner of the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award will be announced on Friday.
