BBC Strictly Come Dancing star pulls out of show and viewers demand 'replacement'
Kai Widdrington replaced by Nikita Kuzmin in Strictly Come Dancing professional line-up
Strictly Come Dancing viewers have demanded a 'replacement' after Kai Widdrington pulled out of the show last week.
The professional dancer, who was partnered with AJ Odudu, was forced to withdraw from the competition after suffering an ankle injury during rehearsals.
He has since been replaced by Nikita Kuzmin, who will now dance with AJ.
However, some viewers have expressed their disappointment that Kai has had to leave the show.
One fan tweeted: "I'm so gutted that Kai has had to pull out of Strictly. He was one of my favourite dancers."
Another added: "Kai and AJ were such a great team. It's a shame that they won't be able to dance together anymore."
However, other viewers have welcomed Nikita to the show, with one fan tweeting: "I'm excited to see Nikita dance with AJ. He's a great dancer and I think they'll be a great team."
Another added: "I'm sure Nikita will be a great replacement for Kai. He's a talented dancer and I can't wait to see what he does with AJ."
It is not yet known how long Kai will be out of the show for.
However, it is thought that he could be back in time for the final.
In the meantime, Nikita will dance with AJ in the upcoming weeks.
It will be interesting to see how they get on together.
