BBC Strictly Come Dancing star's 'messing about' in show error
Former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer James Jordan has criticized the show's current stars for "messing about" and making mistakes.
Jordan, who won the show in 2019 with Alexandra Burke, said he was "disappointed" by the standard of dancing in the current series.
He said: "I think it's a shame that some of the stars are messing about and making mistakes. They need to take it more seriously and focus on their dancing."
Jordan's comments come after a number of high-profile mistakes by celebrities on the show this year.
In one incident, former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley fell during her performance of the Charleston.
In another incident, former England cricketer Michael Vaughan was criticized for his lack of rhythm during his paso doble.
Jordan said that he believes the current stars need to "up their game" if they want to win the show.
He said: "The competition is tough this year, so the stars need to be at their best. They need to be practicing hard and giving it their all.
"If they don't, they're going to get voted off. It's as simple as that."
Jordan's comments have been met with mixed reactions from fans of the show.
Some fans agree with Jordan, saying that the current stars need to take the competition more seriously.
Other fans have defended the stars, saying that they are all trying their best and that mistakes are part of the show.
