Bradford City v Aldershot: Respect on the agenda as Bantams face one of last season's FA Cup stories
Respect is on the agenda for Derek Adams’ Bantams when they welcome Aldershot to Valley Parade in the FA Cup on Sunday.
The Shots were one of the stories of last season's FA Cup, beating Havant and Waterlooville, Barnet and Yeovil Town before only losing 2-0 at home to National League rivals Boreham Wood in the fourth round.
Adams was still in charge at Morecambe at the time, but he was keeping a keen eye on Aldershot's progress.
"They had a great FA Cup run last year and they have started the season well," he said.
"They are a good footballing side and we will need to be at our best to beat them."
Aldershot are currently eighth in the National League, one place and one point behind Bradford City.
They have won their last three matches, including a 2-1 victory over Dorking Wanderers in the FA Cup first round.
Bradford City will be looking to avoid an upset when they host Aldershot on Sunday.
