Gasheads fight back to reach FA Cup second round
Bristol Rovers survived a scare against local rivals Weston-super-Mare to reach the second round of the FA Cup.
Rovers found themselves 2-0 down after just 15 minutes at the Memorial Stadium, but goals from Josh Coburn and Scott Sinclair levelled the scores before half-time.
Aaron Collins then completed the comeback with a goal just after the hour mark to send Rovers through to the next round.
The Gasheads made a nightmare start to the game, conceding twice in the opening 15 minutes.
First, Jake Hyde headed home from a corner, and then Luke James doubled the visitors' advantage with a well-taken finish.
Rovers responded well, though, and pulled a goal back through Coburn just before the half-hour mark.
Sinclair then levelled the scores from the penalty spot after Collins had been fouled in the area.
And Collins completed the comeback just after the hour mark, finishing off a good move from Rovers.
Rovers will now host League One side Exeter City in the second round of the FA Cup.
