Caelan Doris excited for All Blacks rivalry ahead of Ireland autumn internationals

Ireland flanker Caelan Doris is relishing the prospect of facing the All Blacks this autumn, saying it is a "good rivalry" that he is "looking forward to getting stuck into".

Doris was speaking after Ireland's 40-7 victory over Fiji in Dublin on Saturday, a match in which he scored a try.

The 24-year-old is one of the most exciting young players in world rugby and is likely to play a key role for Ireland in their upcoming Tests against the All Blacks, South Africa and Australia.

Doris said he is excited about the challenge of facing the All Blacks, who are the world's top-ranked team.

"It's a good rivalry and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into it," he said.

"They're a world-class team and they're going to be a tough challenge, but we're confident in our ability and we're going to give it our best shot."

Doris' comments come after Ireland head coach Andy Farrell said he is expecting a "huge challenge" from the All Blacks.

"They're the best team in the world for a reason," Farrell said.

"They've got a lot of quality players and they're very well-coached. We're going to have to be at our best to beat them."

Ireland will host the All Blacks at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on November 12.
