Channel 4 Sunday Brunch chefs to leave after a decade

Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer to bid farewell to show

Made in Chelsea star set to join team

Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer are leaving Channel 4's Sunday Brunch after nearly a decade at the helm.

The pair, who have fronted the show since its launch in 2012, announced their departure in a statement on Instagram.

They said: "After nearly 10 years of hanging out with you lovely lot and cooking up a storm every Sunday morning, we've decided it's time for a change. It's been an amazing journey filled with laughter, great food and brilliant guests. We want to thank everyone who has been a part of it, from the production team to our chefs and of course, you, our wonderful viewers."

Channel 4 has confirmed that the show will continue, with a new line-up of hosts to be announced in due course.

One possible contender is Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing, who has previously appeared as a guest on the show.

Laing, who is known for his culinary skills, has said he would be "honored" to take over the reins from Lovejoy and Rimmer.

Whoever takes over the show will have big shoes to fill. Lovejoy and Rimmer have been credited with making Sunday Brunch one of the most popular cooking shows on British television.

The show's unique format, which sees the hosts cooking and chatting to guests while enjoying a boozy brunch, has proved a hit with viewers.

Lovejoy and Rimmer have also been praised for their chemistry and their ability to create a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere.

It remains to be seen whether the new hosts will be able to replicate the success of Lovejoy and Rimmer, but one thing is for sure: Sunday Brunch will not be the same without them.
