County Boss Confident Of Ending Winless Run On Road
Brown Lays Down The Guantlet
Crawley Town chief Matthew Brown has declared that his side can end their 11-match winless run on the road when they head to Gillingham on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
The Reds have not won away from home since August and have picked up just eight points in 18 matches on their travels this season.
However, Brown is confident that his side can put an end to that poor run of form when they head to Priestfield Stadium this weekend.
"We know that we need to start winning games on the road if we want to achieve our goals this season," said Brown.
"We have not been good enough away from home this season, but we are confident that we can put that right on Saturday."
"Gillingham are a good side, but we know that we can beat them if we play to our potential."
Crawley head into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat at home to Colchester United on Tuesday night.
However, Brown is confident that his side can bounce back from that disappointment and get their promotion push back on track.
"The defeat to Colchester was a setback, but we have to put that behind us now and focus on the game against Gillingham," said Brown.
"We know that it will be a tough game, but we are confident that we can get the win."
