In reply, the West Indies openers made a fast start, with Lewis and Brandon King putting on 50 for the first wicket in just 5.2 overs. Lewis was particularly severe on the United States bowling, smashing a series of sixes over the boundary. King was eventually dismissed for 20, but Lewis continued to attack, and he was well supported by Shamarh Brooks, who made 21 not out. The West Indies reached their target with 4.2 overs to spare, and they will now face the United Arab Emirates in their next match on Tuesday. The United States, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back when they face the United Arab Emirates on Monday.
