FA Cup: Doncaster Rovers knock out Barrow to reach second round
Doncaster Rovers defeated Barrow 4-2 in a penalty shootout to reach the second round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
The match was level at 2-2 after 90 minutes, with goals from Josh Kay and George Miller for Barrow, and Joe Dodoo and Tom Anderson for Doncaster.
Doncaster took the lead in the 29th minute, with Dodoo heading home from a corner. Barrow equalised just before half-time, with Kay firing home from close range.
Barrow took the lead for the first time in the 65th minute, with Miller heading home from a corner. Doncaster equalised again in the 85th minute, with Anderson heading home from a free-kick.
The match went to a penalty shootout, and Doncaster won 4-2.
Doncaster will now face Havant & Waterlooville in the second round of the FA Cup on December 5.
