Fantasy Football: James Maddison and Bryan Mbeumo Lead Way for Bargain Players

Fantasy football managers are always looking for bargains, and this season there have been plenty of players who have outperformed their price tags. Two of the best examples are James Maddison of Leicester City and Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford.

Maddison has been in excellent form for Leicester, scoring five goals and providing four assists in 11 Premier League appearances. The England international is averaging 6.3 points per game, which is excellent value for his price tag of £8.2 million.

Mbeumo has also been impressive for Brentford, scoring four goals and providing two assists in nine Premier League appearances. The Cameroon international is averaging 5.8 points per game, which is excellent value for his price tag of £6.0 million.

In contrast, some of the big-name players in fantasy football have been disappointing. Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes has only scored one goal and provided two assists in 11 Premier League appearances, while Chelsea's Kai Havertz has only scored two goals and provided one assist in nine Premier League appearances.
