Series will feature ten celebrity contestants under 18 being tasked with ‘funnier’ challenges tailored to them.

Channel 4 has announced a new spin-off series of Taskmaster, titled Junior Taskmaster, featuring ten celebrity contestants under 18 taking on a series of hilarious challenges. The series will be hosted by Greg Davies and Alex Horne, and will air later this year.

Davies said that the new series will be a lot “funnier” than the adult version, with challenges tailored specifically to the younger contestants.

He said: “We’re not going to be asking them to do anything too dangerous or difficult, but we want to make sure that the challenges are fun and engaging for them. We’re also going to be using a lot more props and costumes, so it’s going to be a lot more visually appealing than the adult version.”

Horne added: “We’re really excited about Junior Taskmaster. We think it’s going to be a great show for the whole family to enjoy. The contestants are all really talented and funny, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with.
