I’m a Celebrity 2024 rumoured star ‘quits’ with weeks to go
Despite the show's launch fast approaching, an unnamed rumoured star is said to have quit the series.
ITV bosses were reportedly left scrambling after the much-anticipated star pulled out of the show at the last minute.
The source claims they have heard of another celebrity who is tipped to take part in the ITV reality series, who has also dropped out.
This comes after Matt Hancock was spotted arriving in Australia earlier this week, with the former health secretary rumoured to be one of the famous faces hoping to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
An insider said: "This is yet another blow for the show following the Matt Hancock signing. ITV bosses are said to be scrambling to find replacements.".
The source added: "Two celebs have now quit the show, but they are remaining tight-lipped on who they are, which makes it more difficult to find suitable replacements.".
An ITV spokesperson declined to comment when contacted by The Sun.
This year's lineup is shaping up to be one of the most explosive in years, with a string of huge names linked to the show.
As well as Hancock, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu, former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa, and Loose Women star Judi Love are also rumoured to be in the running.
I'm a Celebrity is set to return to ITV later this year.
