'I'm going home!' insists Strictly's Motsi Mabuse as she and Craig Revel Horwood clash over his brutal comments sparking fears she will quit the show

Tempers have flared between Strictly Come Dancing judges Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood after she accused him of ‘continually trying to embarrass’ her and threatened to quit the show

The latest series of Strictly Come Dancing has been plagued by rumours of a rift between the judges, after Craig Revel Horwood, 58, was accused of ‘bullying’ new judge Motsi Mabuse, 41, after she was brought in to replace Darcey Bussell

The pair have clashed on numerous occasions during the live shows, with Mabuse accusing Revel Horwood of being ‘too harsh’ in his critiques of the celebrity contestants.

In a tense exchange during Saturday night’s show, Mabuse told Revel Horwood that he was ‘continually trying to embarrass’ her, and that she was ‘going home’ if he continued to behave in this way.

Revel Horwood hit back by accusing Mabuse of being ‘too sensitive’, and insisted that he was simply doing his job as a judge.

The spat between the two judges has sparked fears that Mabuse could quit the show, with a source telling The Sun: ‘Motsi is at the end of her tether.

‘She feels like Craig is picking on her, and that he is deliberately trying to embarrass her in front of the other judges and the audience.’

The source added that Mabuse is ‘considering her future on the show’, and that she could quit if the situation does not improve.

A BBC spokesperson declined to comment on the rumours, but said that the corporation was ‘committed to providing a positive and supportive working environment for all of its employees.’
