Jon Brady: Northampton boss promises full respect for Kettering in their FA Cup meeting
Cobblers head to National League North side Kettering in the first round
Northampton Town manager Jon Brady has promised to give Kettering Town his full respect when the two sides meet in the FA Cup first round on Saturday.
The Cobblers are a League Two side, two divisions above Kettering, but Brady is taking nothing for granted.
"We know that Kettering are a good side and they will be up for this game," he said.
Brady: Kettering are a good side and deserve our respect
"They have some good players and they have a good manager in Paul Cox, so we will need to be at our best to get a result.
"We will give them the respect they deserve and we will go into the game with the right attitude.
"We know that if we do that, we have a good chance of winning the game."
Kettering will be looking to cause an upset
Kettering will be looking to cause an upset against Northampton, but they know it will be tough.
"Northampton are a good side and they will be favourites for the game," said Cox.
"But we are at home and we will have our fans behind us, so we will give it a go.
"We know it will be tough, but we are not afraid of them."
