Liam Lawson will join Carlin for the 2023 FIA Formula 2 season, the team has announced.
The 20-year-old New Zealander, who is part of the Red Bull Junior Team, will make the switch to Carlin after two seasons with Hitech Grand Prix in Formula 2.
Lawson finished seventh in the 2022 Formula 2 standings with one win and four podiums.
He will be joined at Carlin by Zane Maloney, who steps up to Formula 2 after winning the 2022 Formula 3 Championship with Trident.
Carlin is one of the most successful teams in Formula 2, having won the teams' championship in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
The team has also helped a number of drivers to progress to Formula 1, including George Russell, Lando Norris, and Sergio Perez.
Lawson is the first driver to be confirmed in Carlin's 2023 Formula 2 line-up.
The 2023 FIA Formula 2 season will begin on March 4-5 in Bahrain.
