Sunderland have made an impressive start to the season, winning four of their first five league games.

This has led to some suggestions that they could be challenging for promotion to the Championship this season.

However, manager Regis Le Bris is keen to keep his players' feet on the ground.

"We've had a good start, but there's a long way to go," he said.

"We can't get complacent. We need to keep working hard and taking each game as it comes."

Le Bris also pointed to the fact that Sunderland have a number of new players in their squad this season.

"We've got a lot of new faces in the team, so it's going to take time for us to gel," he said.

"But I'm confident that we can be a good team. We've got the potential to do well."

Sunderland's next game is at home to Morecambe on Saturday.
