Churches, schools and community groups across the borough will be coming together this weekend to remember those who lost their lives in conflict.

Remembrance Sunday is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces, both past and present, and to pay our respects to those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

There will be a number of services held across Oldham on Sunday, November 13, including:

There will also be a service at the Oldham Cenotaph, in the town centre, at 11am. The service will be led by the Mayor of Oldham, Councillor Ginny Alexander, and will include a two-minute silence and the laying of wreaths.

Everyone is welcome to attend any of the services. For more information, please visit the website of the Royal British Legion.
