Scotland Flyer Graham Back on the Wing

Hamish Graham is back in contention for Scotland after a hamstring injury ruled him out of the final two games of the Autumn Nations Series.

The Edinburgh wing has not played since starting against New Zealand on November 13, but returned to training on Tuesday and is in contention to start against Wales in Cardiff on Saturday.

Graham's return is a major boost for Gregor Townsend, who was without a number of his frontline players for the defeat by Argentina on Sunday.

The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for Edinburgh this season, scoring six tries in nine appearances.

He made his Scotland debut in 2021 and has won nine caps.

Townsend is likely to make a number of changes to the team that played against Argentina, with Graham likely to come in for Darcy Graham on the wing.

Other potential changes include Sam Johnson coming in for Chris Harris at centre and Rory Sutherland starting at tighthead prop in place of Zander Fagerson.

Scotland need to win to keep their hopes of a third-place finish in the Autumn Nations Series alive.

They will be without a number of key players, including Stuart Hogg, Finn Russell and Jonny Gray, but will be boosted by the return of Graham.

Wales are also likely to make a number of changes to the team that beat Tonga on Saturday, with Dan Biggar set to return at fly-half and Liam Williams coming in for Josh Adams on the wing.

The match is a sell-out and is likely to be a close contest, with both teams desperate to finish the Autumn Nations Series on a high.
