Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Amy Dowden collapsed backstage during Saturday night's show, and an ambulance was called.
The 32-year-old is said to have suffered a "medical episode" in the wings of the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
According to The Sun, paramedics treated Dowden at the scene before taking her to Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
A Strictly spokesperson confirmed that Dowden had been taken to hospital, but did not give any further details about her condition.
Dowden was due to perform with her celebrity partner, Tom Fletcher, in Saturday night's show.
However, she was replaced by fellow professional dancer Dianne Buswell at the last minute.
A source told The Sun: "Amy was taken ill very suddenly. She was backstage with Tom when she collapsed."
"The paramedics were called and she was taken to hospital. Everyone is hoping she will be OK."
Dowden has been a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing since 2017.
She has reached the final twice, with Kelvin Fletcher in 2019 and Karim Zeroual in 2020.
Dowden is known for her energetic and passionate performances.
She is also a qualified dance teacher and choreographer.
