Strictly's Sarah Hadland credits 'unofficial coach' for her dance success
Actress Sarah Hadland has revealed that she had an "unofficial coach" who helped her prepare for her Strictly Come Dancing debut.
Hadland, who is partnered with professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec, said that she turned to her friend and fellow actress, Michelle Collins, for advice.
Collins, who appeared on Strictly in 2016, gave Hadland tips on how to handle the pressure of the competition and how to improve her technique.
Hadland said that Collins' advice was invaluable and helped her to feel more confident on the dance floor.
"Michelle was so helpful," Hadland said. "She gave me some great tips on how to cope with the pressure and how to improve my technique."
Hadland and Škorjanec have impressed the judges with their performances so far, and they are currently one of the favourites to win the competition.
Hadland said that she is grateful to Collins for her support and guidance.
"I don't think I would have been able to do as well as I have without Michelle's help," Hadland said.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on Saturday nights.
