Luke Williams has been confirmed as the new academy manager of Swansea City, the club has announced.
Williams, who is a former Wales international, returns to the Swans after a spell with Newcastle United, where he was the head of academy coaching.
He will oversee the development of the club's young players, working closely with the first-team manager, Russell Martin.
"I am delighted to be back at Swansea City," Williams said.
"The club has a great tradition of developing young players, and I am excited to be part of that process again.
"I am looking forward to working with Russell Martin and the rest of the staff to help the academy players reach their full potential.
Williams is a highly-respected coach who has a wealth of experience in developing young players.
He has worked with some of the best young players in the country, including Joe Willock, Elliot Anderson, and Matty Longstaff.
Williams is also a qualified teacher, which gives him a unique understanding of the educational needs of young players.
He is a valuable addition to the Swansea City staff, and he will play a key role in the development of the club's young players.
Swansea City chairman Trevor Birch said: "I am delighted to welcome Luke back to Swansea City.
"He is a highly-respected coach who has a wealth of experience in developing young players.
"I am confident that he will play a key role in the development of our academy players and help them reach their full potential."
Williams will start his new role on 1 July.
