The Winner Of Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano Rematch “Must Face Me,” Says Chantelle Cameron
The eagerly anticipated rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano is just a day away, but Chantelle Cameron is already looking ahead to a potential fight with the winner.
Cameron, who is widely regarded as one of the best female boxers in the world, believes that she is the natural next opponent for either Taylor or Serrano.
The 31-year-old British fighter has won 15 of her 16 professional fights, with 8 of those victories coming by way of knockout.
She is the current WBC and IBF light-welterweight champion and has previously held the WBO title.
Cameron is confident that she has the skills and experience to defeat either Taylor or Serrano.
"I'm the best in the world at 140 pounds," Cameron said. "I've fought and beaten some of the best fighters in the division, and I'm ready for whoever wins the rematch between Taylor and Serrano.
Cameron has no preference who comes out on top in the rematch.
She said, "I'll fight either one of them. I'm not ducking anyone. I want to prove that I'm the best, and the only way to do that is to fight the best." The winner of the Taylor-Serrano rematch is likely to be crowned the undisputed lightweight champion.
A fight between Cameron and the winner would be a huge event, and it would be one of the most anticipated fights in women's boxing history.
