Alison Hammond 'doesn't rate her son' - Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening
Romesh Ranganathan was called to the headteacher's office after Alison Hammond branded Aiden, 17, as 'terrible'
Comedian Romesh Ranganathan has revealed that Alison Hammond branded his son Aiden as "terrible" during a parent's evening
The comedian was called to the headteacher's office after the This Morning presenter, 47, said she "didn't rate" the 17 year old.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Jonathan Ross Show, Romesh said: "Alison Hammond said my son was terrible at parents' evening. To be fair, he's not great, but he doesn't deserve to be slated by Alison Hammond."
Romesh, 44, shares Aiden with his wife Leesa. The couple also have a daughter, Theo, 12.
The comedian's comments come after Alison revealed that she had been asked to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.
Speaking on Loose Women, she said: "I've been asked to do Strictly a few times, but I've always said no. I'm too busy with work and the kids.
"But I'm thinking about it for next year. I'm not getting any younger, so I might as well give it a go while I can."
Alison is currently single after splitting from her boyfriend of two years, Ben Hawkins, earlier this year.
In June 2023, Romesh announced the dates for his 2024 UK tour, which will see him perform 28 dates across the country.
