Barrow AFC Boss Looks to Create More Cup Memories Ahead of Doncaster Clash

Barrow boss Pete Wild believes his team can cause a cup upset by beating Doncaster Rovers as they bid to reach the second round of the FA cup.

Barrow have a proud history in the FA Cup reaching the Fifth Round in 1955.

They also achieved the Fifth Round in 2000 and Fourth Round in 2010.

They have also reached the first round proper in four of the last five seasons and Wild is determined to lead them on another cup run.

Wild believes that his team has what it takes to beat Doncaster and reach the second round of the FA cup.

He said: “We’ve got a good record in the FA Cup and we always look to do well in it.”

“I’m confident that we can cause an upset and beat Doncaster

“We have a good squad and we’re in good form. We’re not going to sit back this will be a good game and we will look to attack them from the off.”

Barrow are currently 12th in League Two, one place below Doncaster Rovers who are 11th.

Barrow have won three of their last five games, while Doncaster have won two of their last five games.
