BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans in tears over Tasha Ghouri's emotional admission

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left in tears on Saturday night

as Tasha Ghouri opened up about her cochlear implant journey during the show's Movie Week special.

The moving moment came as the dancer took to the dancefloor with professional partner Gorka Marquez for a Waltz to "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri

Wearing a beautiful white gown that featured a sheer overlay embellished with sparkling crystals, Tasha looked absolutely stunning as she twirled across the dancefloor.

However, it was her words before the dance that really stole the show.

Speaking to host Tess Daly, Tasha explained that she lost her hearing when she was just a baby

and that she has been wearing cochlear implants ever since.

She then went on to say that she never thought she would be able to dance on a show like Strictly Come Dancing, but that she was determined to prove that anything is possible.

Tasha's emotional admission left viewers at home in tears

with many taking to social media to praise her for her bravery and determination.

One viewer tweeted: "Tasha Ghouri is an inspiration to us all. She's proof that anything is possible if you set your mind to it."

Another added: "I'm so proud of Tasha for sharing her story. She's a role model for so many people, and she's showing the world that disability doesn't have to hold you back."

Tasha's Waltz was a truly magical moment

and it's clear that she has a very bright future ahead of her on Strictly Come Dancing.
