Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano: Chantelle Cameron targets winner of rematch
Taylor and Serrano to rematch in Ireland
Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano are set to rematch in Ireland, with the winner likely to face Chantelle Cameron next.
The Irish fighter retained her undisputed lightweight belts with a split-decision win over Serrano in April, but the Puerto Rican has since activated her rematch clause.
The bout is expected to take place in Dublin in the autumn, and Cameron is already eyeing up the winner.
Asked if she would be interested in facing the winner of the rematch, Cameron told Sky Sports: "Yeah, definitely. She pushed Katie to her limits and it would be a great fight. I would relish that challenge."
Cameron wants to unify lightweight division
Cameron, who holds the WBC, IBF and WBO lightweight titles, is keen to unify the division and become undisputed champion.
She said: "I've got three belts and I want to unify the division. I want to win all the belts and become undisputed champion. That's my goal."
The 31-year-old is confident she has the skills to beat either Taylor or Serrano.
She said: "I think I have the style to beat both of them. I'm a big puncher and I'm very strong. I think I can knock either of them out."
Rematch is a must-see
The rematch between Taylor and Serrano is one of the most eagerly anticipated fights in women's boxing history.
The first fight was a close and exciting contest, and the rematch is sure to be even better.
With Cameron waiting in the wings, the winner of the rematch will have their work cut out for them if they want to unify the lightweight division.
