Miranda Hart and Sarah Hadland to Join Strictly Come Dancing 2023
Strictly Come Dancing is set to welcome two new faces to the dance floor this year, as Miranda Hart and Sarah Hadland have been confirmed as contestants.
The comedian and actress, best known for her role in Miranda, and the Call the Midwife star will be joining a star-studded line-up for the 20th series of the BBC One show.
Hart, 50, said she was "thrilled and terrified" to be taking part in the show. "I've always been a huge fan of Strictly, so it's a real honor to be asked to join the team," she said.
Hadland, 54, said she was "excited and nervous" about the challenge. "I've never danced before, so I'm going to have to learn fast," she said.
The new series of Strictly Come Dancing will launch on BBC One in September.
Other celebrities confirmed to be taking part in the show include:
- Will Mellor
- Kym Marsh
- Richie Anderson
- Ellie Simmonds
- Tyler West
The full line-up of professional dancers for the 2023 series is yet to be announced.
