Stoke City legend, Rory Delap, is back at the bet365 Stadium and he's aiming to help the Club's talented youngsters make the breakthrough into the first-team.
The former Republic of Ireland international has joined the Club's Academy as a part-time coach and is working with the under-18s and under-23s.
Delap, who made over 200 appearances for the Potters, is a highly respected figure in the game and he's looking forward to passing on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of Stoke stars.
"I'm delighted to be back at Stoke City," said Delap. "It's a Club with a great tradition and I'm really looking forward to working with the young players.
"I think there's a lot of talent coming through the Academy and I'm here to help them develop and reach their potential."
Delap is a former Premier League winner with Manchester City and he also played for Southampton, Burnley and Sunderland during his career.
He's well-known for his powerful throw-ins and he's hoping to pass on his expertise to the young players at Stoke City.
"I've always been known for my throw-ins," said Delap. "But I'm also a good coach and I'm looking forward to helping the players improve their all-round game.
"I'm going to be working on their technique, their decision-making and their fitness.
"I want to help them become better players and I want to help them achieve their dreams of playing for the first-team.
