Arrested Individual Faces Serious Charges
A man has been charged with attempted murder following a serious assault in Paulsgrove, Portsmouth. The incident occurred on Thursday evening, leaving the victim with life-changing injuries.
Swift Police Response
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary were called to the scene at around 9:30pm on Thursday, August 4. Upon arrival, they found a man in his 20s with serious injuries. The victim was immediately taken to hospital, where he received treatment for life-changing injuries.
Arrest and Charges
A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has subsequently been charged with attempted murder. He appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Saturday, August 6, and has been remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on September 2.
