The Rockets had fought back into the contest in the fourth quarter and were just a point behind with three minutes remaining when a controversial replay call resulted in Danuel House's dunk being overturned. Many observers believed that the call was incorrect with the NBA admitting after the game that it should not have been overturned. The replay call proved to be a pivotal moment in the game as the 76ers were then able to extend their lead and close out the victory. Harden's 32 points led the way for the Rockets but Russell Westbrook could only manage 21.
The Rockets have now lost three straight games and will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.
