Strictly Come Dancing's Shirley Ballas storms out of seat during 'fight' with Craig Revel Horwood

BBC dance show sees row break out between judges.

Tension between the Strictly Come Dancing judges spilled over into a full-blown row on Saturday night, with Shirley Ballas storming off set after clashing with Craig Revel Horwood.

The disagreement, which took place after contestant Kym Marsh and her partner Graziano Di Prima performed a samba, saw Revel Horwood criticise the performance, calling it "flat-footed" and "lacking rhythm".

Ballas took exception to Revel Horwood's comments, defending Marsh and saying she thought the performance was "full of energy and passion".

The row quickly escalated, with Revel Horwood accusing Ballas of being "biased" towards the contestants, while Ballas accused him of being "unfair" and "disrespectful".

At one point, Ballas stormed off the set, leaving the other judges and the audience stunned. She later returned, but the tension between her and Revel Horwood was still evident.

A BBC spokesperson said: "We can confirm that there was a disagreement between Shirley Ballas and Craig Revel Horwood during Saturday night's show. The matter was resolved and the show continued as planned."
