Strictly star JB Gill takes to the dancefloor once again
JLS bandmate Marvin Humes says the singer needs to 'bring out' more
JB Gill is taking to the dancefloor once again, this time as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
The JLS singer and radio presenter is one of 15 celebrities taking part in the BBC One show this year.
Speaking on his Capital Radio show, Gill revealed that his JLS bandmate Marvin Humes had given him some advice ahead of his Strictly debut.
"He said, 'You need to bring out more, you need to be more flamboyant, you need to be more expressive," Gill said.
"I think that is exactly what the show needs. Strictly needs a bit of JB Gill!
Gill is not the first JLS member to appear on Strictly. Aston Merrygold reached the final of the show in 2017, while Oritsé Williams took part in 2016.
However, Gill is the first member of the band to compete in the show since it moved to BBC One in 2014.
Gill is partnered with professional dancer Luba Mushtuk on Strictly.
The pair will perform their first dance, a cha-cha, on the launch show on Saturday, September 17.
Strictly Come Dancing is one of the most popular shows on British television.
The show has been running for 19 series and has seen a number of celebrities lift the glitterball trophy, including Ore Oduba, Stacey Dooley, and Kelvin Fletcher.
