Verstappen Says Bumpy Interlagos Throwing Red Bull Off Its Stride

Red Bull's Max Verstappen has said that the bumpy nature of the Interlagos circuit is making it difficult for the team to find a good setup for its car.

Verstappen finished fourth in Friday's practice for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, behind the two Ferraris of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, and Mercedes' George Russell.

The Dutchman said that the bumps on the track were making it difficult to get the car to turn in the corners.

"It's very bumpy here, so it's not easy to find a good balance," Verstappen said. "The car is bouncing around a lot, so it's difficult to get it to turn in the corners."

Verstappen said that Red Bull would need to find a way to improve the car's setup in order to be competitive in the race.

"We need to find a way to make the car more stable," Verstappen said. "We're not quite there yet, but we'll keep working on it."

Red Bull has been the dominant team in Formula 1 this season, winning 15 of the 20 races so far. However, the team has struggled for pace at some of the bumpier circuits on the calendar, such as Baku and Singapore.

Verstappen said that he was confident that Red Bull would be able to find a solution to the problems it is facing at Interlagos.

"We're a strong team," Verstappen said. "We've been able to overcome challenges before, and I'm confident that we can do it again this weekend."
