Liam Livingstone smashed his maiden ODI century as England levelled the series against the West Indies with a five-wicket victory in Barbados. Chasing 226 for victory, England were in trouble at 114-4, before Livingstone and Moeen Ali combined for a match-winning partnership. Livingstone struck 12 fours and six sixes in his 102 from 99 balls, while Ali made an unbeaten 75 from 70 balls. The pair put on 111 runs for the fifth wicket to take England to victory with 2.1 overs to spare.
Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow put on 47 for the first wicket
Earlier, Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow had put on 47 for the first wicket, before Roy was bowled by Akeal Hosein for 16. Bairstow was then caught behind off the bowling of Alzarri Joseph for 30, to leave England 73-2. Dawid Malan and Ben Stokes both made starts, but both fell to Keemo Paul, with England in need of a big partnership.
Livingstone and Moeen Ali put on 111 runs for the fifth wicket
Livingstone and Ali provided that partnership, with the former bringing up his century with a six off the bowling of Joseph. Ali also played his part, hitting the winning runs with a four off the bowling of Hosein. The victory levels the series at 1-1, with the final ODI to be played on Sunday.
