The Mexican striker has been struggling with a groin problem since the start of the season and missed the defeat at Fulham last weekend.
He is expected to have a late fitness test before the game.
Jonny Castro Otto (knee) and Sasa Kalajdzic (knee) are both long-term absentees.

Crystal Palace will be without Joachim Andersen (calf) for the trip to Molineux.
The Danish defender suffered a calf injury in the warm-up before the win over Leeds United last weekend.
He is expected to be out for around two weeks.
James McArthur (ankle) and Nathan Ferguson (Achilles) are also doubts for the game.
